Caroline Goodman
I first met Randy winter over 20 years ago, when we were both teachers at the Maud Booth Family Day Care center in North Hollywood. Even then, randy was well respected by all and dedicated to his work. What a wonderful coincidence that randy and his family moved onto our street two years ago. Even though the Winters are the newest on the block, they have become the pivot point for the rest of us — organizing barbecues during summer holidays and caroling at Christmas. During the Northridge earthquake, we suffered substantial damage. Randy’s company rebuilt the chimney, replaced a wooden garage door with aluminum, replaced windows and front door, replaced linoleum floors with ceramic tile, put a new ceiling light and fan in our master bedroom, installed porch lights, patched cracks in the walls, and painted inside and out. It was a pleasure working with Randy. His professionalism, from estimating to inspecting, put us at ease at such an emotionally-charged point in our lives. He gave expert advice and guided us through difficult decisions. Randy checked on his workers several times each day and communicated with us daily. One thing we greatly appreciated was the fact that no ‘extra’ charges were ever added as the construction was taking place. The men working for randy demonstrated pride in their work. We love our ‘new’ home. Don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions or if you’d like to take a first-hand look at the craftsmanship of the Randal Winter Construction Company.
